14 of the Smaller Things in Life

It's been a while hasn't it? Pls dont hate. To cut a long story short, I started my new full time job three weeks ago, and after I ran out of pre-taken photos for pre-written posts, I lost track of everything. Sigh. But here I am, I'm still alive and completely loving my job.
So anyway, onto the actual post. I threw this list together a while ago after I saw the lovely Corrie over at dizzybrunette3 do a post similar.
The smaller things in life; they're things we maybe take for granted or forget to appreciate, but they seem to make the day a little better when they come about!
Eating a Sunday dinner and discovering more meat underneath your mash.
When someone tells you that you look very pretty today.
When the person you love squeezes you unexpectedly.
Ordering a perfume sample online, forgetting about it, and then being pleasantly surprised when you receive it in the post months later.
Getting an extra chicken nugget in your box of nuggets.
When you listen to a song and it gives you goosebumps.
Painting your nails perfectly, even with your left hand, and not smudging them.
When you buy someone a gift knowing that they really wanted it, or you buy it on a whim and they end up loving it.
When cats love you without being forced to.
Feeling proud after you've tidied your room.
When you make a cake or a meal and everyone loves it.
Having a hot bath after you've been out in the cold for ages.
When you do someone a favour and they really appreciate it.
Getting your eyeliner perfect on the first go.
p.s. the pictures of my cat made me smile, and I was too unorganised to take some new photos, oops.
