That's right, the Kylie Jenner Lip Kits are not a myth and it is actually possible to get your hands on one. I know that a lot of people feel it's impossible to get hold of even one of these things, as well as the fact that they're on the pricier side at the equivalent of £20.48 per kit and £10.56 shipping.

But even though my wallet and my common sense were both screaming at me to not buy them, my head, heart and my makeup bag were screaming YASSS BITCH YASSS BUY DEM LIP KITS.

So I did. Do I regret it? No I do not.

I've never tried matte liquid lipsticks before, and the only matte lipstick I own is Rimmel Kate Moss 107 which I never wear because my lips just crumble off. So I was hesitant to say the least, but I had faith in King Ky and I watched every single youtube review on the run up to her restock.

So I got Candy K and Dolce K. I'm obsessed with Candy K, Dolce K not so much. It doesn't suit me but I'm holding on to it for when I go on holiday and get a tan.

I swear everyone goes on about the scent, to me it smells like vanilla and vimto??? idk, it is a bit sickly but it isn't gross.

On my first attempt I had a little bit of lip balm on beforehand, just because I know that my lips are prone to drying out really quickly even with normal Mac lipsticks. But that didn't do it any good, it dried but it didn't dry completely and was still a bit tacky. So I whipped it all off and went in with completely clean, dry lips and it was a dream. It honestly is like theres nothing there and I love it.

Not only that, but IT DOES NOT BUDGE. One of the days I wore it, Tom and I were play fighting and he shoved a t-shirt into my mouth (??? freak, I know), so I went to check if it had stayed on...? Still flawless.

Kylie has done such an amazing job on these kits, and for such a gorgeous lip pencil and the liquid lipstick, I don't think the price is too bad at all. (My swatches of the pencils don't do it any justice, apologies) When I get paid I'm definitely going to be buying more, I feel like I can go for bolder colours with the formula, like Mary Jo K or Kourt K, because they don't smudge I won't have to worry about it going up my face or having lipstick teeth.
