What's in my Makeup Bag?

19:07:00

Hello lovelies! For today's post, I will be going through what I keep in my makeup bag for my everyday face. This is usually what I will take with me to my boyfriends house, and it creates the look I wear almost every day of my life. Unless I'm going somewhere special and I'll do fancy eye shadows and all that jazz. But for now, we're talking basics.

Revlon Colour Stay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin, Shade 110 Ivory
This foundation provides a good coverage for me, but I would say that it might appear a little cakey if it was layered, but maybe thats just my skin. I also find this shade quite pale but as we all know, high street brands don't offer the best selection of shades and I have a fear of spending £13 to end up looking like an oompa lumpa when I'm already a vampire.

Maybelline Matte Maker, Shade 10 Classic Ivory
This is also super, super pale. I bought it thinking it would be almost transparent, but the first time I wore it my dad said "the ghost look doesn't really suit you y'know", so yeah, it's really pale, but I just apply it lightly over my t-zone.

Barry M Brow Kit
Gah I love this eyebrow kit so much! I'm touching so much pan on the powder but its still lasted me so long. I must have had it for over a year now. I used to use a Rimmel eyebrow pencil for a while but I always come back to this kit. I just love the shade of the brown and it stays so well on my brows.

Makeup Revolution Blush Bronze and Brighten, Shade Flush
I've spoken about this palette previously, (if you want to check it out, you can do, here) and I absolutely adore it. I only use the contouring and highlighting shades, and I've found that when I apply the right amount of contour and highlight it looks lovely and natural.

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I feel like this product is very similar to the Collection Liquid Eyeliner, but that one, for some reason, just doesn't sit right with me. This eyeliner is without a doubt my holy grail. I don't think I will ever buy a different high street eyeliner. The brush is just right and I find it so easy to work with.

Maybelline Go Colossal Mascara
This is a fab mascara, it ticks all the boxes for me, it lengthens, makes lashes appear fuller and thicker, and separates well. Which are all aspects that I look for in a great mascara! And its easy to get off, which is a bonus for me.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lip Liner, Shade 011 Spice
This lip liner is beautiful and works amazingly with my Mac Brave lipstick. I also wear it on its own sometimes and it looks just as fab, as well as doing what it claims to do, lasts well on the lips.

Mac Brave Lipstick
This is my favourite shade of lipstick to date. I feel that its definitely one of those 'your lips but better' shades, and I love that. It just suits my skin tone so well and I've never found a colour that suits me better.
