The Beauty Blender!

19:01:00

This month when payday rolled around, I decided it was finally time to tick something off my wish list that was far too long overdue. The Beauty Blender.

Now, I'm pretty sure we've all seen that video where the girl finds bugs in her Beauty Blender, and I distinctly remember the caption saying something along the lines of "don't buy your beauty blender from foreign countries", or something like that. So I felt confident that buying it off the UK website and paying a steep £16 would be worth it if it meant I wouldn't be squishing dead bugs against my face every morning.

I have to admit, that when it arrived I had the biggest panic ever. I opened the lovely pink plastic wrapping and undid the box, to find the tiniest container ever, with the Beauty Blender inside. I thought I had bought a miniature version for £16!! In my moments of panic, I did a quick search for blogposts and youtube videos of other people unboxing theirs, only to breathe a sigh of relief when I found a photo of it before and after being saturated in water.

I can safely say that this was a fab investment, especially in comparison to the Real Techniques version that I was using previously. I didn't have to pay for postage and it arrived really quickly! (Ordered on Thursday morning and it arrived on Saturday morning!) As well as this, I received miniatures of their solid cleansing soap and the liquid version!

Do you have a Beauty Blender, and what do you think of it?! Let me know in the comments!

  1. I'm so tempted to get one of these! I have a Cosmo blending sponge that I use from time to time but haven't ever been that impressed with it. Definitely thought it was just the sponge itself for ages, but I've heard so many people say they thought the same until they tried the real one... I think I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and see for myself!

    1. Hey Misia! I had gotten so bored of brushes and wasn't happy with the Real Techniques sponge at all, I definitely think the only way to know it to try it for yourself and see if it works well for you! I hope you enjoy if you do decide to get one! xx

  2. The same thing happened to me when I first got mine! I was like "OMG I bought the mini one by accident!" Hope you love it. It's my favorite way to apply my foundation - I always find myself coming back to this!
